Whether you're eight or
88, Woodmen camps have something for everyone. Woodmen operates 40
camps around the country, and each camp is special. But whether
you're sitting under the shade of a palm tree in Hawaii or a pine
tree in New England, summer camp provides the same opportunity for
growth, friendship and memories.
Woodmen youth camps are open to members from ages 8 to 15. Camps
offer boys and girls the opportunity to expand their interests and
experiences, and learn about teamwork and leadership. Activities at
camp include nature study, citizenship, drama, arts and crafts,
swimming, fishing, games, hiking, sports and many others. Last year,
more than 10,000 youth members attended a camp in their area.
Senior members who are at least 55* years old are invited to senior
camp. Senior camps are designed for our members to enjoy the
fellowship of good friends and new acquaintances. A wide variety of
activities are offered, including arts and crafts, music, games,
fishing and nature walks. Many of the camps even offer educational
seminars with emphasis on the needs and interests of seniors.
Woodmen has earned an outstanding reputation in the camping
community because of our commitment to safety and respect for
campers. We've been perfecting our summer camp operations for more
than 57 summers.

Camp continues to be one of the most popular member benefits Woodmen
offers because of the bonds campers and staff form, the good
feelings it inspires and the memories it sparks.
*Some Senior Camps are only available to those 65 and older.

Enjoy
what nature and Woodmen have to offer at Senior Camp. Even if rifle
marksmanship doesn't trip your trigger, Senior Camp offers a variety
of other indoor and outdoor activities for Woodmen members age 55
and older.
At Senior Camp, you can take a hike; make a splash at the pool; deal
the cards; and get hooked on fishing!
Senior Camp can be a welcome vacation – a relaxing break from the
hustle and bustle of the city, or just a nice break from cooking.
Bunking with fellow campers can even spark memories of Woodmen youth
camps.
Even if you didn't attend camp as a youngster, it's not too late to
experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere. A week at Camp can even
help couples see each other in a new light – like, at sunset
overlooking a lake.
Camp is a way for our senior members to round out their Woodmen
experience. Instead of leading meetings or organizing activities,
you can kick up your feet and participate in what makes you happy.
Members often say that friendship is the most important reason they
attend Woodmen Senior Camp – the companionship with fellow campers
is invaluable.
Come on, enjoy what nature and Woodmen have to offer!

Woodmen's
youth program can help children develop to their fullest potential,
relate to others with understanding and respect, and make
improvements to society. All of this and they have a lot of fun
along the way!
